Jennifer Abrams is an international educational and communications consultant specializing in supporting public and independent schools, universities, and non-profits. She trains and coaches educators, administrators, and other professionals on new teacher and employee support, having hard conversations, fostering collaboration, and developing as one’s best adult self in the workplace. With over two decades of experience in the Palo Alto Unified School District as a high school English teacher, new teacher coach, and professional development facilitator, Jennifer transitioned in 2012 to full-time consultancy, working with schools and organizations worldwide. She has presented at prominent North American conferences, including Learning Forward, ASCD, NASSP, NAESP, and ISACS, and facilitated internationally with organizations such as EARCOS, NESA, ECIS, and the Principals’ Training Center. Her publications include Having Hard Conversations, The Multigenerational Workplace, Hard Conversations Unpacked, Swimming in the Deep End, and her latest book, Stretching Your Learning Edges: Growing (Up) at Work. Recognized by Education Week as one of “21 Women All K-12 Educators Need to Know,” Jennifer considers herself a “voice coach,” guiding others in effectively using their voices to collaborate, present, coach, and lead.
