Kristel Solomon is an accomplished International Educational Consultant with over 20 years of experience dedicated to ensuring that all children have access to high-quality education and the opportunity to achieve their individual pathways to excellence. She has served as Director of Student Support Services in Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia, worked with diverse schools and organizations worldwide, and most recently served as the Interim School Director of a Special Needs School in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Kristel began her career teaching and mentoring students within high-incidence and “at-risk” populations, fostering her deep commitment to inclusion and student success. A graduate of Temple University with degrees in Elementary and Special Education and a Master’s in Educational Psychology, she also holds a graduate certificate in Mind, Brain, and Teaching from Johns Hopkins University. As a workshop facilitator and student services reviewer for Next Frontier Inclusion (NFI), a senior leadership trainer for International Schools Partnership (ISP), and the Director of Leadership Advocacy for the International School Leaders of Educational Support (ISLES), Kristel plays a vital role in advancing inclusive education globally. She also supports the Special Education and Inclusion Association (SENIA) and has contributed to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Guidelines for Inclusive Education.
